As Joanna Kitson, I signed up to the army aged just 17 and rose to the rank of corporal before growing tired of army rations and conditions on deployments.

I left the forces in September and I absolutely made the right decision. It’s great! I enjoy being able to do my nails, put my lashes on and wear underwear.

I hated having to wear a uniform in the army. Now I love being able to feel sexy and feel like a woman.
